Yesterday I drove into Boston to have my orientation at Partners In Health. I was very impressed with the drive, motivation,love of their job of all the people I met. It was a long day, but it was good to know the background and ways of this organization. I met up with my friend, Jim, who told me some stories about his trips to Rwanda. The necessities that I will have to get......i.e IMODIUM!!! Oh great!! One other thing was a real good flashlight, because at night it is so dark---imagine the sky when there is no excessive light glowing from the ground!! I can't wait!!
Hoping that my planned trip to go see the gorillas works out..... I just can't justify $700.00 for the car drive!!! Yes it's a once in a lifetime trip, but...........
Well 2 weeks from tonight I will be making the final preps for my trip. It still seems a little unreal, but I'm sure that feeling will go away!!
